Floor Choice

Scratch-resistant SPC or porcelain floor covering is far more resistant to the claw marks of cats and dogs. Light-coloured covering makes fur and marks more visible; choosing a mid tone is practical.

Fabric Choice

Velvet and twisted woollen textures are prone to fur clinging. Short-textured microfibre and leather or leather-look products are easier to clean.

Paint and Wall Coverings

Washable, wipeable high-performance paints are a must in homes with pets. It is advisable to prefer a durable paint system over wallpaper.
