Protecting Decoration When Moving

Carefully chosen decorative objects can be exposed to breakage, scratching or colour fading during a move. Correct packing minimises this risk.

Glass and Ceramic: Wrapping each piece individually with bubble wrap is enough. Boxes should be stacked horizontally, not vertically.

Paintings and Mirrors: Corners should be reinforced with cardboard protectors, and large mirrors should be carried upright marked "FRAGILE".

Furniture: Protect surfaces with a blanket or stretch film. Most scratches happen at door and staircase transitions.
