How to Paint a Ceiling
Ceiling Painting Techniques
Ceiling painting, since it requires working against gravity, is the most difficult surface application both physically and technically.
Roller Ceiling Painting: A long-handled roller is the most common choice. The ceiling roller nap should be longer (12–15 mm). If too much paint is loaded, sagging is inevitable.
Preventing Drips: Paint should be applied with a fully wrung-out roller. It should be spread with "W" movements at the start, then finished in one direction.
The Wall Intersection: The border should first be done with a brush, then the wide area painted with a roller.
