How many coats are applied?

Two to four depending on the product. Marmorino needs 4-6 hours between coats, lime-based finishes longer. If the coat below is not fully dry the surface will not bind and will chalk later.

How many days does one room take?

A single wall takes a day, a medium room 2-3 days, a whole living room 3-4 days. Drying between coats sets the pace, not the speed of work.

Can the surface be cleaned if marked?

Sealed surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth. If you want a wipeable surface, say so at the start so we choose the finish coat accordingly.
