Italian Paint Application in Beşiktaş

We apply Italian decorative finishes across every Beşiktaş neighbourhood, including Akatlar, Etiler, Bebek, Levent, Ortaköy, Kuruçeşme, Balmumcu and Gayrettepe. We prepare the sample in the light of your own space and do not begin until you approve it.

Italian Paint Finishes and Where They Work Best

Marmorino is marble-dust based, matt and lightly textured; it is the most durable option in corridors and heavily used areas. Stucco Veneziano is burnished to a glass-like shine; right for walls you want to show off, such as a living room or entrance hall, but it demands a perfect substrate. Marble effect is built with veining work — it is the most requested application in Akatlar and Etiler, giving the look of marble without its cost or weight. Travertino imitates the porous texture of natural stone. Concrete effect and micro-cement create a raw surface, favoured in Levent offices and modern living rooms. Aged and antique techniques are widely used in the restaurants and cafés along the Bosphorus.

What Sets the Price of Italian Paint in Beşiktaş?

The technique chosen, the number of coats and the starting condition of the wall. Techniques needing veining work, such as marble effect, cost noticeably more than matt marmorino, because every vein is worked by hand and no two walls come out the same. Burnished veneziano sits at the top for the same reason. The wall's condition is the second determinant: where there is glossy oil paint or a flaking layer, stripping and surface repair form a separate item. We show material and labour separately.

Work We Have Completed in Beşiktaş

We have completed a marble-effect decorative application on a bedroom wall in Akatlar, decorative work on the interior walls of Patio Restaurant in Bebek and a decorative finish on its facade. Facade work depends on the weather: if rain is forecast or night temperatures fall below 5 degrees, the job is postponed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Italian paint finishes are there?

The most widely applied are Marmorino (matt, lightly textured), Stucco Veneziano (polished and glossy), marble effect, Travertino (natural stone texture), concrete effect, micro-cement and aged or antique techniques. In Beşiktaş marble effect is the most requested.

Why does marble effect cost more?

Every vein is worked by hand and no two walls come out the same. That work takes noticeably longer than a matt marmorino. In return it gives the look of marble without its cost or weight.

Marmorino or veneziano?

Marmorino is matt and textured and more durable in corridors and heavily used areas. Veneziano is glass-like and deep, but its shine reveals every irregularity, so the substrate must be perfect.

Can it be used on facades?

Yes, with lime-based products, which are preferred because they breathe. We worked on the facade of Patio Restaurant in Bebek. Application depends on the weather: if rain is forecast or night temperatures fall below 5 degrees, the job is postponed.

Can it be used in restaurants and cafés?

Yes. Aged and antique techniques are widely chosen in the Bosphorus venues. In these spaces we specify a wipeable finish coat, because cleaning is frequent.

How many coats are applied?

Two to four depending on the product. Marmorino needs 4-6 hours between coats, lime-based finishes longer. If the coat below is not fully dry the surface will not bind and will chalk later.

How many days does one room take?

A single wall takes a day, a medium room 2-3 days, a whole living room 3-4 days. Techniques needing veining work, such as marble effect, add a day.

Does the colour change through the day?

In spaces facing the Bosphorus, markedly. That is why we prepare the sample in your own wall's light rather than from a catalogue and ask you to view it morning, midday and evening.

Can the surface be cleaned if marked?

Sealed surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth. If you want a wipeable surface, say so at the start so we choose the finish coat accordingly. In kitchens and restaurants we recommend a wax or resin seal.

Can it go over existing paint?

Over sound, matt emulsion it can, with a primer. Glossy oil paint or a flaking layer needs stripping. We decide at the survey with a tape test.
