From an Identical Flat to a Personal Space

Most estate flats on the European side share the same plan. What sets one apart is not furniture but three decisions: layered lighting (ambient, task and accent instead of a single ceiling fitting), one feature surface (moulding, decorative paint or a patterned covering on the television wall) and made-to-measure storage. In villas the problem reverses; furnishing the wide living rooms of Büyükçekmece and Bahçeşehir without zoning makes the space feel empty. Frequently Asked Questions

Which European-side districts do you cover?
The whole European side, from Silivri to Sarıyer and from Bakırköy to Başakşehir. Our showroom and workshop are at Sunflower AVM in Esenyurt.

Is there a per-square-metre price for decoration?
There is no single square-metre price; scope decides. Surface work alone (coverings, decorative paint, lighting) stays well below a renovation budget; once structural work such as removing a wall is involved, the figure moves into renovation territory.

What sets an identically planned flat apart?
Three decisions: layered lighting, one feature surface (the television wall) and made-to-measure storage. Lighting is the cheapest of the three and makes the biggest difference.

Can I get design advice only and have someone else build it?
You can. We produce a colour and material palette, a layout and a product list and hand you the report. If we are not carrying out the work we write products and dimensions precisely so another team can achieve the same result.

Do you provide 3D visuals?
We do, built with real product codes. What you see on screen is what can be bought. Most clients settle on a decision once they see two or three options side by side.

How long does the design take?
Concept and palette within a week of measuring, 3D visuals within two. With revisions a typical flat project takes 3-4 weeks and a villa 4-5. Product lead times are shown separately.

Do you take on villa decoration?
We do. We have worked on projects such as Ardıçlı Villaları in Bahçeşehir, Alkent in Büyükçekmece and Sunflower Villaları in Silivri. Villas need separate planning for stairwells, floor transitions and zoning the wide living room.

How do you pull a large living room together?
By dividing it into zones: seating area, dining section, reading corner. We separate zones with rugs, lighting and ceiling levels rather than walls. A single seating group is the commonest mistake.

With a small budget, what should I change first?
The lighting. Replacing a single ceiling fitting with ambient, task and accent light in separate layers changes a room completely and costs noticeably less than replacing furniture.

Do you do clinic, office, retail and restaurant decoration?
We do. The Lazerline Clinic in Bakırköy, clinics in Nişantaşı, Merter Collesium AVM and Patio Restaurant in Bebek are among our commercial projects here. Durability, cleanability and where required fire classification come first.

Is the installation team yours or subcontracted?
The wall covering and decorative paint team is ours. For trades like electrics and plumbing we use fixed teams we have worked with for years; your point of contact does not change.

Do you supply the furniture?
Either works. Where made-to-measure is needed we use a workshop; where standard sizes fit, ready-made makes more sense. If you prefer to buy yourself we give you the product list and dimensions.

Is lighting part of the design?
It is, and it makes the biggest difference. We plan ambient, task and accent lighting as separate layers. It has to be designed while the electrical first fix is open; moving sockets and downlights later means opening walls.

How do you guide colour choices?
We fix the permanent elements first: floor, cabinetry and large furniture, then build the wall colour on top. Most mistakes come from reversing that order.

Is the survey charged?
No. On-site assessment, measuring and a written quote are free.
